This is a special midweek mailout from A Personal Anthology.
Ever since the project started in 2017 we’ve paused for the months of June and July, and marked the end of the ‘season’ with a collaborative anthology themed around summer and the holidays. These have run in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 and have featured individual stories picked and introduced by a whole range of people, some of whom have been contributors to the project, but many of whom haven’t.
My plan is to run another one of these this Friday (or possibly next Friday), so this email is a call for contributions - do you have a favourite summer-set short story that you could write briefly about?
If so, please let me know. I can’t wait to see what you come up with?
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan
I will happily write about Penelope Mortimer’s ‘The Skylight’ or J.G. Ballard’s ‘The Cloud-Sculptors of Coral D’.
Cheers

Absolutely, but we're flexible!
